Cupcakes! Ah finally…

I finally set out to make the “carbomb cupcakes” with Guiness cake, Jameson whiskey ganache, and Bailey’s icing!

They turned out fantastic, and have been a hit so far!  I highly recommend them for anyone that loves a chocolaty treat, even if you’re not that into beer, and the alcohol can be substituted ^_^

I just might break, and bake cupcakes!

I may have missed the boat on St. Patty’s but after reading about other people making their own, I’m dying to find a good recipe for Guiness cupcakes, with Bailey’s creme filling and chocolate icing… *drool*

It just sounds so good. =d….

Or, I’ll just make some chewy chocolate chip cookies…

Snow day! Starting tonight…

It’s official, it’s a snow day at work, so I’ve got tomorrow off with the furballs, and maybe Eric, too!  I already dropped the kittens in the snow and they seemed to like it!   Zeno stayed low like a ferret, and Cali was off exploring.  ^_^

Maybe tomorrow I’ll make valentines cupcakes or something… When it comes to the holidays, even the cheesy ones, it’s a good excuse to bake and not feel guilty!  We’ll see what I can make with what I have in my cabinets…

Snow day, going through pictures

Snowed in on this Saturday Eric and I got to poking around our photos and I came across a few I’d like to share.  My cooking and baking has been all over the place in the last year, but these are some of my favorites!  Pancakes, crepes, cupcakes, cakes, candy and dinner… I recommend not looking on an empty tummy.
